Computer Essentials 1: Technology, Terminology, Windows 10, Files &Folders FULL

Are you new to computers or unsure how to use the one you have? Computers can be overwhelming to the new user so let us introduce you to the basics of how a computer works. During the 3 sessions, students of all ages will learn hands-on computer skills and will get a better understanding of computers and how they can help you in your daily life. You will learn about the keyboard, the mouse, computer terminology, the components of your computer, and how to use the Windows operating system including how to organize your files with folders and how to search your computer for your files and programs. $40
Computer Essentials 2: Intro to Internet and Email FULL

Continue to build on your understanding of your computer by exploring the Internet and Email systems. Join us to discover the World Wide Web and how to “Surf the Net”. It can open a whole new library of information and uses for your computer. You will learn web browsers, search engines and web sites so you can find what you are looking for as well as how to create mailing lists with attachments. Please bring your email address and password with you to class. $40
Computer Essentials 3 – Technology, Safety and Security FULL

Are You ready to learn more about technology and your computer? Do you have questions about what you’ve learned in Essentials 1 and 2? Do you have new questions now that you’re using your computer more? Now that you’re more comfortable with technology, let’s learn about how to use it safely and keep you and your information secure. If you have taken Computer Essentials 1 and 2 or have a GOOD working knowledge of Windows and want to learn more, join us for this fun session. $40
Introduction to MS Word

Are You ready to learn something else you can do with your computer? Do you want to create documents that look great? Have you figured out how to use MS Word but think there must be easier ways to use it?
Discover the basics of creating MS Word documents including:
– Entering and editing text, Creating, saving, and editing Word files, formatting your text, Aligning paragraphs
– Adding and editing pictures and clipart
If you have taken Computer Basics 1 or have a GOOD working knowledge of Windows and want to learn more, join us for this fun class.
Bring a jump drive or memory stick to the class to save your document onto. $30

Excel Level 1

Have you tried using MS Excel and been lost and overwhelmed by it?
Do You have a spreadsheet you are expected to use and maintain?
Do You want to be more efficient and confident using Excel?
Join this class!!
You will learn how to use Microsoft’s spreadsheet program, MS Excel to create, save, and edit spreadsheet files; to enter and edit information; create basic formulas; use basic Functions like SUM; and attractively format and print your spreadsheet. You will learn to use Excel while creating a membership list
**A GOOD working knowledge of MS Word before taking this course will make learning Excel MUCH easier. Bring a jump drive or memory stick to the class to save your document onto. $ 30
