Basic Digital Skills Instructor

Leduc Adult Learning and Devon Public Library are seeking a Basic Digital Skills Instructor to offer classes in both communities. The successful candidate will assist individuals in understanding the use of digital systems, tools, applications and networks while promoting foundational learning skills that enhance their workplace and daily lives. We are looking for a contract instructor to provide small class instruction with the possibility of additional one to one instruction.
Required Skills: Applicants should have an excellent understanding of Basic Computers, Word and Windows. Previous experience teaching adult learners is an asset. Applicants must be able to provide engaging lessons and differentiate the lessons based on the needs of learners. Applicants should also have the ability to work independently in an approachable and professional manner.
The successful candidate must be willing to provide a clean vulnerable sector criminal record check as part of the hiring process. Must also have reliable transportation and be willing to work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends.
